Dear parents/guardians,

We would like to provide you with an update before summer break on the modulars being installed at Connaught School. We anticipate that the installation of the modulars will begin at the end of September. Safety measures will be taken to ensure the safety of students and community members who use the playground or school site while the installation occurs. This includes enclosing the construction area, scheduling work to avoid disrupting learning and operating within specific hours according to municipal bylaws. We expect that the modulars will be ready when students return from winter break.

The modulars will be located on the southwest portion of the school property, leaving the north portion of the playfield available for the community and students. Importantly, this installation does not impact the existing playgrounds and naturalization area located on the east portion of the site, ensuring the continuity of familiar spaces for our students.

You will continue to be updated as construction occurs. As we near winter break, the school will follow the call-back process to offer families, in order of the priority lists, an opportunity to return to Connaught School. The call-back process occurs at various points in the school year when space and resources are available.
