Long Weekend

No School tomorrow, Friday, May 17

No School Monday, May 20

Help us Celebrate Connaught Staff

Connaught School Council, on behalf of all the families at our school, wants to celebrate the great work of our school staff by regularly delivering treats to our staff room during the last month and a half of school. If you want to make or purchase treats for staff (just once or many times!), please email Lucy Perry. She will coordinate a time for your treat delivery. It's one way we can all say "thank you" for the wonderful efforts and care of the Connaught staff.

Volunteers Needed for Rotary BBQ at National Indigenous Family Day and Powwow

The Rotary Club of Calgary is a strong supporter of Connaught School with volunteers and funding support. They are asking for our volunteer help for a BBQ they are hosting during the National Indigenous Family Day and BBQ.

Date: Saturday, June 22

Time: 12pm - 3pm

Location: Enmax Park

You do not require a police clearance to volunteer. Volunteer roles include cooking burgers, preparing coleslaw, and serving guests.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Gary Webster at webster.gary.a@gmail.com.

Connecting Families of Connaught School and the Beltline

Meets on Tuesday, May 21, 8am - 9:30am.

Join us on at St. Stephen's for conversation and community. Babies and young children are welcome. We'll have tea and treats ready, as well as toys for the little ones.

Swing by after you drop off your children to school and stay for as long as you like. And spread the word! We rely on you to invite other parents to join in this supportive space.

Hope to see you all next week.
