Staff Changes 

It is always with mixed emotions that we announce staff changes each year. We are sad to see our beloved teachers leave but wish them all the best in their new adventures. We know they have so much to offer and their talents will now be shared with others. We would like to congratulate the following staff members on their successful applications to other CBE schools. 

  • Kristy de Boon – Learning Leader at Briar Hill School 
  • Shayla Jaques – Learning Leader at Radisson Park School 
  • Sylvia Sinclair – Teacher at Bridlewood School 

We would like to welcome Alistair Delday as one of our new Learning Leaders. He joins us from Hugh A Bennett School. 

2024 – 2025 School Year 

Is your family moving over the summer? If your children will be attending a new school, please let our office know your new address as soon as possible. We will assist your school transfer. This will allow us to invite back students from our overflow schools.

Volunteers Needed for Rotary BBQ at National Indigenous Family Day and Powwow   

The Rotary Club of Calgary is a strong supporter of Connaught School with volunteers and funding support. They are asking for our volunteer help for a BBQ they are hosting during the National Indigenous Family Day and BBQ. Unfortunately, if they do not get enough volunteers, they may not be able to host the BBQ.  

Date: Saturday, June 22 
Time: 12 PM - 3 PM
Location: ENMAX Park  

You do not require a police clearance to volunteer. Volunteer roles include cooking burgers, preparing coleslaw, and serving guests.

Police Clearances 

Thank you to all of the parents who have submitted a police clearance to allow them to volunteer at any CBE school.  Please remember that once you receive the clearance you must bring it in to Connaught so I can change your status from PENDING to CLEARED in the database.  Once you are cleared your clearance is valid for 5 years and can be transferred to any CBE school.
