Moving
A friendly reminder that if your child will NOT be attending Connaught in the fall we would like to know now. This helps us with staffing and making class lists. Please email or call Ms Judy Brown with your child’s name and where they are going.
Donation
We were gifted with lots of t-shirts and some fanny packs from the Invictus Games. We distributed them to students today. The Invictus Games were held in Vancouver this February. The Invictus Games are an international multi-sport event for wounded or sick military members, both serving and veterans.
Please note that the shirts are youth sizes and may be too big for your child at this time. We encourage you to wash them in hot water to shrink them a little.
Stampede Breakfast – Friday – Dress in your Western Wear
Join us for a FREE Pancake Breakfast compliments of the Calgary Stampede Breakfast Committee!
When: Friday, June 6 from 7:30-8:30 am
Pancakes will be served at the front of the school and we will eat on the field side. NO students on the playground side please.
*Students will remain on the field with their teachers until the bell rings around 8:20. Attendance will be taken at 8:30am.
Please note: There will be no breakfast program this day.
Students and families --Please stay with your child until regular entry time (7:50am) and walk your child to their teacher when you leave. Teachers will be in the field.
This Friday the PM kindergarten classes attend school.
No school for AM kindergarten. AM kinder families who would like to come to the pancake breakfast are asked to stay with their children and take them home with you after breakfast.
Monthly Bottle Drive
Friends of Connaught (the fundraising organization for Connaught School) and school administration's next monthly bottle drive fundraiser is Thursday, June 5, 2025. The money raised will go toward improving the student experience at our school.
Please bring clean and dry refundable drink containers to school. Friends of Connaught volunteers will be at the recycling bin near the east entrance of the school from 7:50am - 8:10am to collect your recyclables.
