Parent-Teacher Conferences
Booking for parent teacher conferences opened yesterday. Please use your MyCBE account to book a meeting. All meetings will be held online, Friday, March 21.
School Council
Have you ever wondered what a school trustee does? Join us at our next School Council Meeting on April 22 at 5:00 to here from our School Trustee, Susan Vukadinovic. Also at this meeting, the kindergarten teachers will be sharing about learning in kindergarten!

Next Year
The 6 modulars have been delivered! They are working on preparing them for occupancy. We expect to be opening them in September. We will begin the callback process following spring break. To ensure we know who is returning to Connaught we need your help. If you have moved or will be moving before the next school year please let our office know by emailing jabrown@cbe.ab.ca or roengbers@cbe.ab.ca. Ms Judy or Ms Mona can help you with the transfer process.
Students who have moved out of our designated area have 2 choices of when to move to their new school. In both cases a transfer form is required if the move is within Calgary and to another CBE school:
- Students may transfer immediately or
- Students can finish this school year and must move for the 2025-26 school year
Monthly Bottle Drive
Friends of Connaught (the fundraising organization for Connaught School) and school administration's next monthly bottle drive fundraiser is Thursday April 3, 2025. The money raised will go toward improving the student experience at our school.
Please bring clean and dry refundable drink containers to school. Friends of Connaught volunteers will be at the recycling bin near the east entrance of the school from 7:50am - 8:10am to collect your recyclables.

Community Opportunities
NSTEP is offering a free Chef on NSTEP: Come and Learn how to cook!
When: Tuesday March 25 (2 time slots: 10:30 or 12:30)
Who: 8-12 years of age. (We need 10 registrants to run the program.)
Where: Scarboro United Church, 134 Scarboro Ave, Calgary, AB T3C 2H1
