Dear families,

We anticipate the work to install six modular units at Connaught School will start next week. 

You can expect work to take place on the southwest side of the school. Landscaping will take place in the upcoming weeks, including removing five evergreen trees in the school field. Measures will be taken to ensure the safety of students, staff, and community members who use the school site during this construction period. This includes enclosing the construction or work area with fencing, scheduling work to avoid disrupting learning, and operating within specific hours.

While the modulars will be ready for use in spring, additional landscaping, including tree replanting and site remediation, must wait for warmer weather. This means that some work is anticipated to continue, and crews will be on-site to complete landscaping by the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
